I am currently trying to raise funds to assist a local family in Rochester, NY. Here is their story. No names are used to protect thier privacy.
The husband of the family was out of work for some time. The family of 4 was barely making ends meet on the paycheck of the wife. They were on the verge of bankrupcy, when the Lord blessed them and the husband found a job that would allow the two of them to support themselves and thier teenage girls.
However, in the first week of the new job, the husband found he had cancer. Luckily the company is very understanding and he has health insurance now. However, he is going through chemotherapy and is unable to work, so the family is again living on one paycheck.
The are committed to giving thier two daughters a Catholic education. Both are in high school. The older daughter is going into her senior year in September. But they cannot afford to send the girls to the Catholic high school with all of thier monetary issues.
I and my wife have decided to help raise the funds necessary to send the girls to Catholic school and avoid them having to go to the pubiic school in the city school district, which is not a very good school. I'm asking anyone interested in helping out to either buy my CD. All proceeds will go to the girl's education fund. If you would rather make a monetary contribution, please use the Paypal link below.
